Jason Phillips

Jason Phillips is the Senior Vice President of People Experiences at Cisco. He currently leads a complex set of delivery portfolios and platforms across the employee lifecycle all designed to increase the overall worker experience. In this role he is accountable for all @scale delivery of what are commonly referred to as traditional human resources processes, platforms and solutions. Prior to this role, Jason served in key Cisco leadership roles to include the Vice President of HR operations, Vice President of Talent Acquisition, and Vice President of Digital Operations & Chief of Staff. In these roles he played a major role in the company’s overall human resources performance, talent acquisition, leading human resources digital strategies, promoting operational efficiency, and managing team performance through effective governance and financial stewardship. Prior to Cisco, Jason served as the SVP of HR Shared Services for Kaiser Permanente where he had oversight of all human resources delivery and oversight for their HR Service Center in support of over 180,000 employees and 430,000 retirees. He also has worked in various leadership roles across multiple consulting firms and started his professional journey as an officer in the United States Marine Corps. His passion in support of Veteran’s communities is often on display as he serves on multiple advisory boards and volunteers in support of assisting transitioning veterans into meaningful employment. In recognition of Jason’s contributions as a leader in his field, he has received numerous awards such as HR Executive of the Year and Top 100 HR Technology Influencers. Jason has his Bachelors degree in Government, his Masters degree in Management and completed his doctoral studies in Adult Learning & Human Resources Development.
